In short: Everything we sell is genuine stock supplied through official channels and carries the manufacturer’s warranty — a minimum of 12 months from the invoice date unless a longer period is stated. We manage the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf, so you deal with one point of contact.
1. Warranty cover
Minar Media Systems is an authorized Middle East distributor for the brands we carry. All products are supplied new and sealed and are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects and component failure under normal use.
Standard period: 12 months from the date of invoice, unless a longer period is stated on the product page or in the manufacturer’s documentation, in which case the longer period applies.
Batteries, cables, and consumable accessories: 3 months from the date of invoice, reflecting normal wear.
Your rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection apply in addition to, and are not limited by, this warranty.
2. What is covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
- Component failure occurring under normal operating conditions.
- Repair or replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the unit, at the manufacturer’s discretion.
3. What is not covered
- Accidental damage, dropping, crushing, liquid ingress or exposure to moisture.
- Damage from incorrect voltage, unstable power, or use of a non-approved power supply.
- Operation or storage outside the manufacturer’s stated environmental limits.
- Units opened, modified, or serviced by anyone not authorised by the manufacturer or by us.
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, and normal deterioration of cables, batteries and accessories.
- Faults caused by unofficial firmware, modified software, or third-party accessories.
- Products with a removed, altered or unreadable serial number.
- Loss of recorded data or media — please keep your own backups.
4. How to make a claim
- Email sales@minarsystems.com with your invoice number, product model, serial number, and a description plus photographs or a short video of the fault.
- Our team will attempt to resolve simple issues remotely first — many faults are settings or firmware related.
- If the unit needs to come in, we issue a service reference and the return address. Please do not send equipment without a reference.
- Pack the unit securely, ideally in its original carton, with all accessories needed to reproduce the fault.
5. Service turnaround
- Assessment: 3–5 working days from receipt of the unit.
- Repair in region: typically 7–14 working days once the fault is confirmed.
- Referral to the manufacturer: 4–8 weeks, where the fault requires factory service or parts not held in region.
We confirm the expected timeframe in writing once the unit has been assessed. For broadcasters and production companies working to deadlines, a loan unit may be offered where stock allows — please ask when you raise the claim.
6. Shipping for warranty claims
For confirmed defects within the warranty period, we cover shipping in both directions within the GCC. If the unit is found to be working correctly, or the fault falls outside warranty cover, return shipping and any assessment charge are payable by the customer and will be quoted to you before the unit is returned.
7. Out-of-warranty service
We continue to support equipment after the warranty expires. Send us the model and a description of the fault and we will quote for the repair. No chargeable work begins until you approve the quotation.
