8. Legal basis and UAE data protection law
We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. We process your data where it is necessary to perform our contract with you (fulfilling your order), to comply with a legal obligation (tax, customs and accounting records), on the basis of your consent (marketing communications), or for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the store.
9. International transfers
Some of our service providers — payment processors, couriers, hosting and analytics — process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by an adequate level of protection or by appropriate contractual safeguards, as required under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
